Directions From Cork
Follow the main road to Cork and then follow signposting for Bandon – Dunmanway-Drimoleague- Bantry you turn left for Durrus before reaching Bantry and about 15 minutes after Drimoleague
When you reach Durrus Village the road forks , left hand fork takes you to the Mizen Head Peninsula.Take the right hand fork which is sign posted Ahakista, Kilcrohane and the Sheepshead Peninsula. Follow this road for  exactly 2.4 Miles(it may be a good idea to set your mileometer at the fork.) You will pass a lay-by on the right and then see a turn on the right (sign posted  Carbery Cottage Guest Lodge &The Sheeps Head Cycle Route) Turn right up this road for about  0.2 of a mile the road turns to the left  then 50yds later there is a turn to the right going up the hill between two farms. We are about 300yds on the left.
